Product Description Make beautiful music with this easy-to-play instrument. The Little Red Wood Accordion is a great first accordion for any child who wants to learn to play it later in life. Features keys 1 through 7, bellows, buckle and strap for bellows, air valve, bass and harmonic. Instructions included.
Editorial Review Your child probably doesn't know Lawrence Welk or the accordion he toted around so famously for years. That should work in the favor of this sturdy, enjoyable instrument. Compact and well built, this starter instrument is a great introduction to the accordion--or just a lot of ephemeral fun. The accordion fits nicely into the palms of an adult's hands, but isn't too unwieldy for its target audience. The number of keys are minimized for ease of use and simplicity, but it's still possible to crank out a complex favorite such as "Yankee Doodle Dandy" (a brief "basic instructions" leaflet is enclosed) only 10 minutes after the instrument's out of the box. --Keith Simanton

Treat it with kid gloves! July 31, 2010 lady My daughter loved this for the month that it was working. It was our fault for accidentally leaving it in the hot car. All the parts inside came unglued and began rattling around. I took the toy apart to glue down the pieces again, but good luck deciding where the 17 pieces actually go since there is no diagram to follow. Who knows how long it would have lasted if we had not made this mistake with the hot car, but I was disappointed when I opened it up to find that something only as sturdy as rubber cement was all that held the pieces in place.
One happy kid! April 29, 2010 Robyn Werhan (Flagstaff, AZ) I bought this for my son's 16th birthday because he wanted and accordion. He spends time playing regularly and I've not felt the need to ask him to stop. Due to the scale there's never a "bad" note. He says it's easy to play and has fun messing around finding songs he can figure out. It would be even better if there were more song books available. A super value!
Great accordion! December 28, 2009 Jen D. (Connecticut) I bought this accordion for my 4-year old son, and he loved it. It's very high quality for the price, and the sound is wonderful. My 6-year old enjoys playing with it too.
Hours of fun for adults and children, great toy for the price October 17, 2009 A. G. Fuentes (Miami, FL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent toy for hours of entertainment for adults and children!
Everyone likes to try and play with this accordian, even the adults.
Make sure to get more than one because it is very popular.
The toy is also great for children or adults who need to build their fine and gross motor skills while having fun.
Best about it is that you cannot hit any BAD notes! Anything you try will sound good because it does not have the black notes.
Great toy for the price and entertaining for young and old!
im too old to be enjoying this, this much. January 31, 2009 meg (Long Island, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found this toy in a local Homegoods store, and was having a blast playing it in the store. I'm so happy to find the same product online because the one in the store had been damaged. It really sounds like an accordion, the air really comes in and out of it and it has to have the air inside of it in order to play the sounds, not your usual childs toy. Oh and i'm 22 years old, and i'm buying it for myself. My niece can play with it when she comes over..MAYBE.
