My son liked the toy and bought it for his 6+ month old son. My son plays with it more than baby. Toy looks dangerous as it could be used as a hurling weapon. (My other son chipped my front tooth with a baby rattle he hurled.) Tiny fingers could get caught under the beads when the black links are stretched. I personally think this is a toy designed by well intended geeks who do not realize babies are want to chew on things. This is not a proper chew toy. This toy should not be used without 100% supervision. This toy offers nothing more than looking like a fun toy for parents.

Great toy! Just got it for my daughter and she seems to enjoy it. She is 3 1/2 months old and I think she will continue to enjoy it as she gets older and she can manipulate the sliding pieces. It appears well made and is great with the colors.

I received this toy as a gift when my daughter was 2 months old - she loved it immediately, and it's one of those rare toys that she continued to enjoying playing with for several months, after other toys had lost their excitement for her. It keeps her occupied longer than her other toys, she loves mouthing the little round ends, and it's extremely durable. I will definitely purchase this for other friends as a baby gift!

Bought this for my nephew's first birthday. It's fun because it's a little change from cars and noisy toys. He seems to enjoy it. It seems to be very well made.

Our 7 month old loves this toy, and we expect to have fun tossing it around with her for years. We have not had any durability problems with it in the 3 months we've had it.
