The arch of this unique mobile is designed like a tree trunk with green leafy branches extending outwards to give each friendly creature its own presence. Each of the three adorable characters - giraffe, monkey and bird - does a special "dance" as it dangles from the tree. I bought this mobile when my daughter was about 5 weeks old, which was about 3 weeks ago. I turn it on a couple of times per day, when she is already calm, and she almost always appears very interested in both the circling animals and the music. She can lie there with attentive eyes for quite a while (30-45 minutes) which is a LOT longer than she'll look at anything else. I sometimes narrate the goings on, and sometimes just leave her to her own devices, and both ways are effective. Almost as important, I like the music and the twirling animals (the twirls are ingenious, by the way), which is quite different from my reaction to some of the more insipid music in other gizmos that is touted as children's music but which is actually just bad music. 5 Stars--highly recommended.

This mobile is great. It was super easy to attach to the crib, which converts to a toddler bed. I love the option of having the music on or off. I personally don't think it's too loud, but then again we don't use the mobile to try to put our son to sleep...it's more like a toy. He stays wide awake watching [and "talking to"] the animals going around. It's really neat that as the toys go around, they also turn a little bit as gravity pulls them.
There is one small downside to this mobile. There's an ostrich, a giraffe and a monkey...all great animals, however I think it would be better to have animals that make sounds for you to teach your baby. Giraffes don't make noise. I searched YouTube to find the sound an ostrich makes. It's a weird throaty noise that I feel very silly mimicking. I usually just end up only doing the monkey noise.
Overall this is a great product. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and we're looking at more Tiny Love toys for our son.

My son LOVES this mobile. He's 5 months old now and will happily lie under it for 30 minutes plus while I run around the house getting stuff done. I pop in and check on him regularly and he is always happily kicking his legs and "screeching" in delight. I started using it around the time he was maybe 6 weeks old, and he still loves it. He also really likes the light up monkey face on the base. it's the first thing he looks for when he wakes up. I take the mobile arm off while he's sleeping so as not to get him too excited. It's definitely worth the money!

My daughter loves this mobile. I bought it sight unseen based on the amazon reviews and we have been so happy that we chose this one. We've used it for the last 4 months and haven't yet had to change the batteries. We were able to easily install it on our crib (DaVinci Kalani Convertible) and it cannot be removed by baby. The stuff animals each rotate and that keeps my daughter amused for a long time. She loves watching them. The music gets repetitive but at 9 months old she still loves it and it puts her right to sleep when we put it on. Also this mobile was priced lower than most I had searched for online and was a great deal. My friend concidentally bought the same one and she raves about hers also.

My baby boy loves this. He kicks and plays along with it. Loves it loves it loves it. He is 3 months now but has been kicking and playing along since he was 1 month old. Keeps him active and happy.
