Snuggle Pod Pea is great for Grand Daughter July 9, 2010 Grandma K Bought this little pea pod for my grand daughter. It is very well made and sized for small hands.
I'm giving it to my grand daughter for her first birthday.
Baby loves snuggling w/ Peanut! July 1, 2010 L. Taylor (Chapel Hill, NC) Like others noted, I thought this was the cutest thing ever and had to have Lil' Peanut for my little boy. I hesitated for a while because it was on the pricey side and also not machine washable. I ended up finally getting it as a transition object for my 3-month old who was having difficulty napping. He will now hold the doll while nursing and being cuddled. The little arms are a perfect size for baby's tiny hands. My baby also likes rubbing the ribbon "hair." I worry that the doll will get yucky fast, as my little guy sometimes bites on him, but we'll see!
You win some...You lose some June 7, 2010 LB I loved this doll, I bought this for my daughter for christmas who was a little over 4 months. I knew she wouldn't play with it for a while. She is now 8 months and still hasn't touched it. It doesn't make noise or anything so it doesn't catch her attention. The quality is wonderful- very soft. I hope that she will play with this later on.
update: she just turned 10 months and has played with the doll a little bit- she likes to point out the nose.... *maybe there is hope* :) I purchased the baby stella doll for her bday so lets hope that dolls are in by then lol
more attractive to the mom than the baby May 19, 2010 Momof2 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was obsessed with this toy as I bought it for someone else's baby shower, and it was so adorable so I wanted my baby to have one too, but she had so many things already so I felt I shouldn't splurge more. But eventually I gave in - and was really excited to show it to my daughter. However, she has not shown as much interest in it as she does in her other dolls, and I can now understand why. This doll's feature are so subtle and delicate, and the color is pastel (green is not as bright as shown in the picture, and doll body is a faded pink), it's just not bold enough to attract babies (she's 7 months only). Maybe when she's older she'll enjoy putting it in and out of the pea pod, but so far, she hasn't been impressed with it and the obsession is more from me.
How cute! May 1, 2010 Christine O'Brennan My entire family calls my niece sweet pea because she was so tiny when she was born. When I saw this on Amazon I had to purchase it, and my niece loves it!
