Product Description This adorable little elephant doubles as an electronic ball game and stacking game, too. The vibrant colors, engaging sounds and different textures of the stacking rings will intrigue Baby's curiosity and provide motor stimulation through several stages of his or her development. Drop the ball through the top of the elephant, and watch it shoot out an escape door at the bottom. Trigger flashing lights and four different songs with the motion of the included balls. There's even a stimulating crinkling sound that occurs if you gently pinch the elephant's ears. Includes four colorful balls and four soft, cloth-covered rings to stack and build the elephant. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (included).

7 mo. old loves it! June 10, 2010 LL Loves to take it apart, play with the balls by shaking them or hitting them together. I can see this toy lasting a while, looking forward to when he figures out he can toss the ball back in the top for music and lights!
We call ours Ganesh and he is a family friend. May 13, 2010 W. Janss (Phoenix AZ) I love this toy. My kids love this toy. I got it for my daughter (now 3) when she was 5 months. She loved putting the ball in the funnel, she loved shaking them, clacking them. She loves the plush rings, and would take them off and wear them, then stack them back. She would take off the head and put it back. This toy is brilliant for encouraging eye-hand coordination. When my son arrived (now 1) he loved it too, demonstrating the same delight and engagement as my daughter. The toy has endured both of them with no significant damage. I have taken to buying this toy for friends when they have little bundles of joy and the response if overwhelmingly positive. "I can practically see my kid getting smarter," they say. The only trouble is that the boy parent will sometimes confiscate it for his own amusement.
Engaging Toy - Many Ways to Play February 6, 2010 Musical Mama (Georgia) This is a well-made toy that is small, but has many great features. Not only are the colors bright and the elephant adorable, all the different things a child can do with it help keep their attention. Our daughter loves it and figured out on her own how to drop the balls in, with and without the elephant head on. It's immediately reinforcing to do this since the music plays when you successfully drop the ball. She will sit and play with it exclusively for longer than most toys. She loves to take off the rings and play with those. She even stuck them on her legs (don't ask how!) and was crawling around with a ring around her leg! Very cute, but also a good sign that she was really playing with the toy. We got it for her when she was 8 months old, and I think she'll be playing with it awhile.
Possible choking hazard January 24, 2010 Marcia (Boston, MA) This is a very cute toy and tons of fun for my 7 month old. However, the balls present a possible choking hazard. They seem to be just the right size to get lodged in a baby's mouth. Ever since I realized this, I've only allowed my baby to play with the stacking rings.

My 8 month daughter likes this toy but plays with the rattle balls more than anything else. It did not keep her attention that long and she did get her finger pinched by the door.
