| Customer Reviews: Great item- great price August 9, 2010 Cassidy Withey (groton, NY United States) I love this sunshade. It is very flexible and will fit pretty much anything because it has several options for attachment. It does not come with directions, but is easy enough to figure out. Other reviewers noted that it does not fold back to take out the baby. This is true, however we use the canopy with a Graco travel system stroller (Graco - Quattro Tour Travel System) which has an accordion-type canopy, so we use the stroller canopy to fold the additional sunshade as well. It works perfectly that way and we leave the additional shade on when we fold the stroller with no issues as well. We used it all weekend long as venders at an outdoor Arts Festival in bright sun, the original reason we purchased it, and have used it continuously ever since. It is so easy to adjust to keep our son completed protected at all times. We like this so much I've ordered another for my husband's stroller, so we never have to be without one. Great item at a great price. It has nice big pockets too which can come in handy.
Works Perfectly! July 20, 2010 C3 Mom (Raleigh, NC) This shade is a no-frills, get-the-job-done item! Far superior to the others we looked at and half the price. It fits both my jogging stroller as well as our everyday Chicco stroller. As others mention, you can't fold the stroller with it on it, but that's easily solved by unstrapping just one side since the shade lays flat once unattached. Highly recommend, especially when traveling, but it has come in very handy even for simple trips to the bus stop to wait for siblings:-)
So far, so good May 8, 2010 R.B. (mom of two girls) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I just bought a Graco Twin IPO stroller, and I needed the extra shade, but I didn't want to spend 55.00 on one shade. I bought 2 of these and they fit just fine side by side. I haven't had them in the sun yet, but I know they will keep a lot more sun off my girls than the shades it came with. They were cheaper too. It also helps keep them a little more separated, since from time to time my 14 month old likes to bug my 3 yo. Since we are going to Dollywood in about a month, I couldn't wait 6-8 weeks for these shades, so after a lot of searching, I found them at [...]. Everywhere else they were out of stock or backordered.
Why don't stroller manufactures make all sun shades this long!? March 29, 2010 Miho 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have the bugaboo chameleon, which we love, except the sun shade isn't long enough to shade our child's face most of the time, and if we pull the shade all the way down, she can't see. We tried getting her to wear a sun hat, but we all know how long kids keep hats on. We also tried hanging a light blanket over the edge and the wind just blew it off. I was so sick of flipping the sun shade back and forth on what were supposed to be leisurely strolls, that I went searching for an alternate. I put this sun shade on the minute it arrived and it worked like a charm! Easy to attach, adjustable, and SUPER light. The only negative is you can't fold it back when taking the child in and out, but it's easily bendable, so it's easy to just nudge it back with your shoulder. Plus, since it twist and folds in a snap, and it's so easy to take on and off, it's not really a huge negative in my mind. I can actually do long strolls without constantly having to check if the sun is blazing down on my child's face. Another plus is that it also fits on our light travel stroller, which is perfect for trips this summer. It has great side pockets for a light wallet, chap stick, keys or sunglasses. So great, because I don't have to go fishing around the stroller bag for small items anymore! It would also fit a cell phone, but because of reports about radiation and cell phones, I wouldn't suggest it. I keep my cell under the stroller in a bag and away from her brain. I find myself constantly asking why bugaboo doesn't just make their sun shade exactly like this one?!
works well February 23, 2010 Dr. Vanessa Kaeaeb 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This product works fine, at least when your stroller has a little canopy where the shade maker stretches over. It adjusts well, gives the extra shade, the original canopy does not, so it is fine. I did not rate it with five points for the following reasons. First, it is really hard to fold it again once it has popped up. Second the attaching strings are not thought-out well. There are four points to be tied with very short straps and two more with hook-and-loop fastener that i did not figure out how they are supposed to be attached... The good thing is, that you actually only need two ties to make it work.
