2 out of 5 stars works good but not as good as others   June 18, 2010

We got this swing before our boy was born. It went together somewhat easily, a little confusing if you don't use the instructions. now 2 months old...
Our son does not like this swing. He does not mind being in the bouncy seat part of it, but not for more than 10-15mins.
The BADS: The pullover tray is very hard to close and keep closed (possible safety hazard). The vibrator on the seat is extremely loud. The plastic on the legs break after awhile. The seat is not perfectly lined up when on the swing. It swings crooked. The animals on top are too high for the baby to really see.
The price is TOO high for what you get.
We ended up listing ours on craigslist and cant get any takers.
We bought the other kind of swing that allows the baby to swing sideways or forwards and is adjustable. Works much better.

4 out of 5 stars Great space saver!   May 31, 2010

My son has used this since when brought him home from the hospital. He has really bad reflux so he actually slept in the bouncer until he was around 11 weeks old. I love that this is a swing and a bouncer in one because we have a tiny house. The tray was hard to snap on and off so we just removed it. My son is 3 months old and we still have it removed but we may put it back on when he is older. He is a very active baby so he wasn't too interested in the toys but we were able to hang our own toys on it. He loves the vibration feature on the bouncer but I think we used it too much because now it sounds like a motor boat and we have to hit it once in a while to make it vibrate.

5 out of 5 stars Graco Swing 'n Bounce 2-in-1 Infant Swing, Broadstreet   April 18, 2010

Wonderful, just wonderful. My 5-1/2 month old really enjoys it. So much that she falls asleep. It's not hard to assembled, takes about 20-30 minutes. The directions are very clear, at least it was to me. The swing/bouncer is sturdy and the harness really keeps the baby in. It takes "D" batteries, I think about 4-6. The bouncer's vibrating motion is optional which is where the 2 out of 4-6 "D" batteries come into play. My baby basically likes the swinging motion.Graco Swing 'n Bounce 2-in-1 Infant Swing, Broadstreet

4 out of 5 stars Good, good and good.   April 9, 2010

Love it. Wish it were not so hard to take apart and more collapsible. It would be nice if the bouncy part tilted back on the floor, hard for small, floppy-headed newborns but it's good.

4 out of 5 stars Mostly good--we really love the bouncer...   March 29, 2010
J. Taylor (Utah, USA)
I loved the Broadstreet pattern, so we have the bouncer and the infant carseat in it. Too bad they didn't make a double stroller in it!

Our 3 month old isn't too keen on the swing, although I think it's because it's usually set up away from me and he likes to be close. The bouncer, however, is a lifesaver. He's really refluxy so he's slept in the bouncer every night since he was 1 month. We put it in his pack-and-play so that if by some long shot he slides out, he won't fall far like if it was on the swing. That's just because we swaddle him still, though, so the harness won't work at night.

In summary, though:
Good:
Bouncer has lots of room to grow and has endured many hours every night well--not too stretched out or anything.
Swing speeds vary--I'm not sure why some people's seem to not work--ours has been great.
Music cycles through lots of songs--yay, variety for Mommy!
Folds up!!! We have the swing folded up behind the tv and it's so nice to only get it out when we need it--sets up fast and one handed.

Not So Good:
The toys hang so high up that he hardly notices them--what good is a mirror if you can't see it?
The bouncer vibrator has a short, I think--but it's run every night for hours and hours, so maybe I just already wore it down. I need to call Graco and see what they recommend.
The motor is loud--I have a hard time believing he'll ever sleep in it since he always stares at the motor box like it's really noticeable to him...but then again, I haven't tried having him sleep in it since he was a month old.

All in all, I would recommend it, but I do think I might try to make some little velcro extensions for the toys so they hang down lower. Also, I'm throwing out another big recommendation not to add the tray part until baby is older--I never even tried because it's too old for baby and now I've read several reviews saying the same thing--it's hard to get the tray off once it's on so wait until baby is old enough for it!
