I bought this swing for my new grand-daughter. I feel that the top part that has the toys hanging off is very flimsy.I can see it snapping off in no time.
I had bought a different travel swing for my grandson 2 yrs ago. It was a Fisher Price take along swing. He was a big baby and he was able to be in it for 6 months. The Bright Starts is really only going to work for a infant/baby.
I think for the money, you could do better.

This small swing was just perfect for my new granddaughter born in Okinawa, Japan. My daughter and her husband are stationed with the military and live in small housing. They didn't have room for a large swing and this fit perfectly.

I bought this swing for my niece - and she loves it!! The music is just the right volume and the swinging action is nice because you can control how fast you want it. My niece loves it and soothes her back to sleep! My niece was 2 weeks old when I purchased it and she has plenty of growing room!! (She was also 9# when she was born!)

This is a great portable swing that is easily movable from one room to the next. Our newborn loves it already and we have only been using it for a few weeks. Not sure yet if she will like the hanging toys as she is not able to notice them yet. This swing is quickly becoming one of our household favorites.
